1. GENERAL
The Swedish People’s Party will hold its Party Congress from Friday 5 June to Sunday 7 June 2026.
The opening ceremony of the Party Congress begins on Saturday 6 June at 9:30 a.m.
The Party Congress venue is Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress, Robert Huberin tie 4, 01510 Vantaa. Please note that there are two different Scandic hotels located next to each other. Scandic Helsinki Aviapolis is located right beside the hotel serving as the Party Congress venue.
On Friday 5 June from 5:00–7:00 p.m., a seminar with an international theme will be held: Freedom, Security and International Law – Liberal solutions for a changing world order.
From 7:00 p.m. on Friday, the City of Vantaa will host a reception at Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress (the Party Congress venue).
Saturday’s dinner will take place at Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress (the Party Congress venue).
Sunday’s devotional will take place at St. Lawrence Church of Helsinge, Kirkkotie 45, 01510 Vantaa. After the devotional, there will be a visit to the war graves at St. Lawrence Church of Helsinge. Bus transportation will be arranged from Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress (the Party Congress venue).
2. REGISTRATION
All participants must register for the Party Congress immediately upon arrival at the venue on Saturday morning. Registration takes place on Saturday from 8:00–9:15 a.m. at the registration desk or after 9:15 a.m. at the Party Congress office.
Delegates’ credentials must be sent to the party office in advance, in connection with registration, or to partidagen@sfp.fi. In the event of additions or unclear cases, credential verification will take place during registration at the Party Congress venue.
Delegate substitutions may be made before the Party Congress, but also at the venue itself. Notification of delegate substitutions must be submitted as soon as possible to partidagen@sfp.fi or to the Party Congress office. A signed authorization must be presented for the substitute delegate. Please note that changes to the electoral register will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, after which the register will be confirmed.
Any unclear financial matters will be resolved in connection with registration at the Party Congress venue. If there is a risk that the payment has not reached the organizer, a receipt must be presented. Any complaints regarding payments must be made no later than three months after the Party Congress.
3. PARTY CONGRESS WEBSITE

In order for delegates to request the floor during the general political debate, submit amendments to motions, and access the delegate list, login to the website is required. Login credentials will be sent to all delegates by email on 11 May 2026.
4. PARTY CONGRESS OFFICE
A Party Congress office will be available at the venue to answer participants’ questions during the Party Congress.
5. DOCUMENTS
The Party Congress documents will be sent by post to delegates who ordered printed copies during registration. The documents in their entirety are available at https://partidagen.sfp.fi/. The website is updated continuously so that current material is always available.
6. DELEGATE LIST

Login is required to access the delegate list. Login credentials will be sent by email to registered participants on 11 May 2026.
7. ACTIVITY REPORTS OF THE PARTY AND THE SWEDISH PARLIAMENTARY GROUP
The party’s activity report, approved by the Party Council in April 2026, is available on the Party Congress website. The activity report of the Swedish Parliamentary Group is also available on the Party Congress website.
8. RULES OF PROCEDURE AND GLOSSARY
The Party Congress documents include rules of procedure that the Party Congress confirms when it is constituted. The rules of procedure determine, for example, how requests for the floor are made and how motions are handled during the Party Congress. The documents also include a glossary of common Party Congress terminology.
9. COMMITTEE WORK
Motions and proposals are processed in preparatory committees according to the division specified in the documents and on the Party Congress website.
Delegates choose themselves which committee they wish to participate in. A delegate may only participate in one committee, not several. No advance registration is required for committee participation. The committee chair and secretary will compile a participant list when the work begins. The committee chair will explain the committee’s working procedures at the start of the committee work.
In addition to delegates, the party presidium, party board, Party Council, Swedish Parliamentary Group, the party’s Member of the European Parliament, and party staff have the right to attend and speak in the committees. Only accredited delegates have voting rights in the committees.
10. ELECTIONS AND VOTING
Elections and voting at the Party Congress will take place electronically through the Votech voting system. All delegates should therefore have access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer with an internet connection during the proceedings. Wireless internet is available at the Party Congress venue. Instructions for the voting procedure will be sent to delegates in advance by email.
11. LINK BANK
The Party Congress website https://partidagen.sfp.fi/ contains a link bank, including the link to the voting system. Login credentials will be sent before the Party Congress to delegates and participants with speaking rights.
12. TRANSPORT
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from the Party Congress. Paid parking spaces are available at the Party Congress venue.
Bus transportation will be arranged from the Party Congress venue to Sunday’s devotional. Departure 7:45 a.m.
13. ARRIVAL AT SCANDIC HELSINKI AVIACONGRESS
Public transport
A valid ticket is required for local trains and buses. Tickets can be purchased via the HSL app or through contactless payment by card.
From Helsinki Central Railway Station or Pasila Station, you can take local trains I or P to Tikkurila Station or Aviapolis (ticket zone ABC).
From Tikkurila and Aviapolis stations, local bus 570 operates to the hotel (ticket zone BC). Get off at the Äyrikuja stop, approximately 300 metres walking distance from the hotel.
From the airport
A free shuttle bus operates between Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the hotel. The bus departs from platform 42 at the airport. Timetable

Reliable taxi companies include Lähitaksi, Taksi Helsinki, Fixutaxi, and Kovanen.
14. ACCOMMODATION
Participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation.
15. MEALS
Welcome breakfast will be served at the Party Congress venue on Saturday morning from 8:00–9:15 a.m.
Lunch on Saturday will be served at the Party Congress venue at 12:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon coffee with refreshments will be served on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
The Party Congress dinner on Saturday evening will take place at Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress, i.e. at the same venue as the Party Congress. The dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. with sparkling wine and mingling. The dinner price includes one glass of sparkling wine and two glasses of wine/beer. Other beverages may be purchased at participants’ own expense. Dress code: smart casual. The dinner ends at 1:00 a.m.
16. CHURCH SERVICE AND WREATH-LAYING CEREMONY
The devotional will take place at St. Lawrence Church of Helsinge, Kirkkotie 45, 01510 Vantaa, at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. After the devotional, there will be a visit to the war graves at St. Lawrence Church of Helsinge.
Bus transportation to the devotional will depart from Scandic Helsinki Aviacongress at 7:40 a.m.
17. SOCIAL MEDIA

18. PHOTOGRAPHY
During the Party Congress, photographs will be taken and published in our channels. During registration, participants had the opportunity to decline publication of photos of themselves. 19. LIVESTREAM & SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION
The Party Congress will be livestreamed via partidagen.sfp.fi. The Party Congress proceedings will be simultaneously interpreted into Finnish.

21. SUPPORT PERSONS
All party events have zero tolerance for all forms of harassment and inappropriate behaviour, which all party representatives are expected to respect. For every larger event, support persons of both genders are appointed in order to provide stronger protection against harassment and inappropriate treatment.
The support persons’ role is to provide advice and support to individuals who feel they have been subjected to bullying, discrimination, harassment, or other unequal treatment within the party’s activities. The support persons are bound by confidentiality.
In connection with registration, all participants committed themselves to following the SPP’s ethical guidelines.

Current information during the Party Congress weekend will be shared in a WhatsApp group. The link will also be available at the delegate meetings before the Party Congress.
